Perhaps communication was the wrong word. But crotas end looks/feels more difficult. If someone dies during Templar or Atheon it's not as big as an issue then when facing Crota.
With crota everyone needs to coordinate a push at the exact time. Because a death brings the over soul and crota himself is down for a very short time.
With atheon deaths meant nothing for warlocks during the buff and all people had to do was unload. I can't put it in the right words. Vog looks more detailed but feels very simple. CE is the opposite.

It feels simple now that we have done it so many times... I'm sure CE will be that way in a few months. And the Oversoul is just another DPS based activity... You literally just have to shoot the sky. If you die at the templar, gatekeeprs, etc... then you can continue... but it becomes increasingly harder to fill in for the lost team members because everyone has defined roles. So when one goes down one has to take over his role, or two need to share the responsibilities In fact in Atheon if you lose more than two teammates, unless your very good, you will end up wiping. If you die in CE, you lose the DPS, but since everyone is doing pretty much the same role, you can compensate easier if you can keep the DPS up. Actually... the sync plates, oracles and templar are basically like this... the confluxes are too... but a little more difficult because of line of sight problems. But the gatekeepers and atheon penalize you a lot for downed members.
