We have seen earlier how the hunter took down Crota with that spectacular strategy that no one expected. Then we saw a warlock that took him down without using the GJALLARHORN. And I use the sticky grenade (first grenade in the defenders subclass) right after I shoot him with my GJALLARHORN to maintain the "DPS" and shoot him once more with GJALLARHORN. Defender Strategy! Crota can be defeated in 4 rounds only! Which takes less than 9 minutes doing it alone. The best way I've seen to do a lot of damage to Crota in two rounds is by standing on the ledge to the right side of crotas ground (in the middle). You'll have to shoot 1 rocket followed by a sticky grenade followed by a rocket. Take your time while doing so, because the sword can be held for 33 seconds. After you shoot him with the last rocket, immediately jump to Crota and start damaging him. The damage as followed - Four light hits followed by one heavy hit. After that humiliation, Crota is going to move to the right. Don't mind him! Simply kill thralls hoping for extra heavy ammo, or for the sake of killing time. Wait for Crota to move to the middle again, then kill the swordbearer and damage Crota for the second time. After you damage Crota in the two rounds, Crota is going to move to the left side. You're going to hear a roar coming from Crota. That means he's calling for his Ogres! Quickly get inside the middle room and wait for the Ogres to be in your sight. Quickly put down your weapons of light and shoot the ogres (one at a time). You have to kill the ogres or else the swordbearer will never spawn. After you kill the ogres, quickly use your heavy ammo synthesis! Final two rounds: This part is the same as the first part. Only it seems that Crota is beginning to shoot more wizard drama. But remember, you are a guardian and he's a hive filth. You are forged by light. So, kill the swordbearer and damage Crota for the 2nd time. He's going to move to the right again.
