Steam wasn't touched by the ddos. Plus better deals, games, services and exclusives so.

Steam not being attacked at all doesn't mean they stopped an attack. That would be like saying a stone wall is better than an iron wall when the iron wall was constantly hit while the stone was not. Logic/10

I know Sony's security blows but I don't think it's much worse than any of it's competitors.

Your level of security doesn't matter to a DDoS attack. Its not a hack, its not a breach of security. Its as if millions of requests are sent to servers, causing an overload.
