Two hundred runs through the Fist of Crota mission to get my first Husk of the Pit.
Then I got my second only five runs later....
...and my THIRD the next day killing a random Blade of Crota on patrol in the Rocketyard running bounties.

Feel your pain..... By the end, I was emptying my entire vocabulary of swear words at my TV and PS, before RNGesus finally gave in.

Yup same Turns out instead of equiping my no land for upgrade, i kept husk because i thought it would be instant upgrade if i turn in all my 10 bounties at once Nope

The only way to upgrade HoP into Eidolon Ally is to kill several hundred Hive...and then buy an Embalming orb from Eris. I'll be doing that tommorow when my Warlock finally makes rank 3 with her. Bounties and killing monsters other than the Hive has no effect on it.
