I've read a few posts that the fallen won't particularly make for a very difficult opponent in the next raid. I beg to differ, and here's why. 10 things to consider...
1. Weapons that track better than any other in the game
2. Invisible Vandals of all kinds (snipers, sword bearers)
3. Teleporting Captains
4. Captains and Vandals that know how to take cover very well
5. Vandals with swords that chase you aggressively
6. Dregs with knives that chase you aggressively (these aren't like dumb thralls)
7. Vandals that know how to snipe very well
8. Servitors that teleport
9. Bosses carry weapons that kill you in one shot
10. Shanks! (pests like harpies!)
BONUS: Randal the Vandal has family you haven't met!!!
Edit: I didn't even include the fact the fallen know how to run. Vex goblins only walked. Minotaurs would walk fast but not run. So since the fallen run, how much harder will this raid be?

they simply put lv 32 enemies in lv 30 game how is that not making it hard with lv disadvantage? it is always the light lv...try lv 28 killing crota. they let you in the game for nothing...

I was telling my bro all this shit. Yeap is going to be crazy

The Reef Strike: The Queen's Fallen guards betray her. And you are tasked with saving the Queen and killing the traitors. Thus you have zeroed out your debt to the Queen.
-
Those god damn indestructible captains....

Edited by Cinders-Shadow: 12/30/2014 8:16:49 AMGuarentee the boss is Gunna be a shank... they've done every other Fallen enemy as a boss basically. Servitor, Walker, giant captain. It's def Gunna be a Shank... A oversized, over shielded shank.

Edited by XShadow0MasterX: 12/29/2014 11:05:19 PMAs painful as it would be, I want to see some sort of open mirrored room full of invisible sniper vandels.

This is exactly why it will be the most annoying raid. Shoot shields, ai teleports to cover, wait for it to teleport out, shoot again, dregs standing behind boxes for 20 min, major vandal snipers that 2 shot you, but my sniper takes like 4 shots. Magnetic bullets that follow you behind cover, I envision a giant archon priest or giant captain boss. Soo it's more of the same shit. I'll enjoy the raid I always do, just hope it's done well and not annoying like I envision it will be.
-
The fallen raid will be a game of cat and mouse. And we are the mouse.
-
dont forget that all of the enemies will be MUCH BIGGER.
-
My suppressor grenade allows me to laugh at fallen who want to teleport. Laugh while I ruin them with fatebringer / Vex :)
-
Not to mention the Dregs have some serious foot-ball skills. They duck, dodge and take cover. They lob grenades like NFL quarter backs, the distance is ridiculous.
-
Sepiks Prime with a body. Arms and legs. Teleports. Shit just got shitier
-
Idc. Ill cheese it all anyway
-
Oh... I thought you were going to say: female fallen... nvm
-
Watch the final boss be a reskinned servitor/walker.
-
The raid boss will be a "hot and bothered" queen of the reef and you have to destroy that pussy
-
Suppressor grenades stop teleporting

Edited by Hene: 12/30/2014 6:31:10 AMO dear... I'm very very very afraid I'd the shanks have shields. Though I can't wait though. It's going to be in a prison setting. I'm not entirely sure but I think the entire dlc is led by the Queen with the favour she expects you after helping you with the gate lords eye. The most dangerous fallen archon or worse gets out but you must stop it under her orders.

Or....it will be just as easy as Crota. We all thought Crota would be harder due to VOG having so many issues/bugs in the beginning. I seriously do hope that House of Wolves is not only a challenge but solid. Why wouldn't Bungie have people try and crack the raids prior to release? This would help the raids be more solid and less cheeseable. <----- new dictionary word.
-
Final boss combine archon priest with sepiks prime and 3 devil walkers
-
The raid boss has six arms.
-
I always say it, Captains are so -blam!-ing annoying to fight at any level. The -blam!-ers have shields, they teleport and can run away backwards really, really fast while still engaging you. You literally have to chase these -blam!-ers down sometimes even though they could wallop you.

SHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Don't give them ideas!

Don't forget that dregs can take cover pretty well
