I've read a few posts that the fallen won't particularly make for a very difficult opponent in the next raid. I beg to differ, and here's why. 10 things to consider...
1. Weapons that track better than any other in the game
2. Invisible Vandals of all kinds (snipers, sword bearers)
3. Teleporting Captains
4. Captains and Vandals that know how to take cover very well
5. Vandals with swords that chase you aggressively
6. Dregs with knives that chase you aggressively (these aren't like dumb thralls)
7. Vandals that know how to snipe very well
8. Servitors that teleport
9. Bosses carry weapons that kill you in one shot
10. Shanks! (pests like harpies!)
BONUS: Randal the Vandal has family you haven't met!!!
Edit: I didn't even include the fact the fallen know how to run. Vex goblins only walked. Minotaurs would walk fast but not run. So since the fallen run, how much harder will this raid be?

One more problem: WE DONT KNOW THE MECHANICS OF THAT PLANET/AREA WHATSOEVER
-
Probably just bummed out that we took their pikes...
-
I agree, I'm pumped for the Fallen raid
-
Melee dregs can be a pain if they aren't running at you in a single file line (headshot headshot headshot headshot) but the biggest threat will always be the captains with sniper vandals. Get so focused on the captains that you can easily miss that charging sniper shot

He's in a tank... Oh wait, wrong species

Do some form of time-clinching objective as a team, unload on giant priest, rinse repeat...
-
In my opinion the Fallen are the hardest enemies with one exception. Wizards....seriously f uck those b itches right in their asses. I hate them so much. Besides Wizards the Fallen have the tracking bullets, teleporting captains and the invisofawkers.

Randal the vandal juggling fully automatic Ghorns with unlimited ammo and a unlimited hobgoblin shield..
-
Wasn't the Crota raid also supposed to be harder?

Multiple Devil Walkers Bungie pls
-
Don't forget that on higher levels the Shanks gain SOLAR shields and become a hell of a lot tougher to kill when they show up in swarm.

I agree

Because you will be able to pick up viagra like you pick up ammo?

Add: That are the only ones with tanks; in the sense that we see them more than once. Beside the Mars strike tank, devil walkers are the only tanks around and exclusive to the Fallen.
-
I guess the Cabal raid will come after that.

I would love to see a mini boss fight (reward check point) where its two named Barrons each with a unique and different attack pattern. One Barron would be slow and tanky (think of Aksor) with a strict use of firearms. The other Barron would be super quick and uses stealth but only attacks with duel wielding swords and a less hp pool. Once one dies the other rallys or becomes "enraged" turning into a much more deadlier foe. Either one that survives will gain an diffent ability or mechanic.

The most important reason...
No cheesing
I haven't seen anyone discussing the fact the raid will have modifiers. This will add alot of difficulty. Things could change considering the filler level is wrong im sure but lightswitch and juggler are what is shown to be on it.

Boss : Archon Priest riding a walker or flying on a big shank.
-
Fix exploits immediately to keep the integrity of the raids. That is all.

I am curious as to how they will make a final boss. Both the Hive and Vex can have god-like entities for Final bosses. Atheon was a Minotaur Time-Lord, and Crota was pretty much a Hive God. We have already seen Two Archons and a Prime Servitor, which are supposedly the most powerful and important of the Fallen. What could they use as a final Boss? Based on the Picture you see for the expansion it looks like another Archon of some Kind.

The house of wolves raid takes place in the reef. There is a strike in the citadel

I'm excited for a fallen one. CE isnt near as difficult as VoG. (Keep in mind I did VoG as a 26 and CE as a 30) It will be nice to have a real challenge. The fallen are the smartest enemy IMO.

As of what we know so far the raid will also have modifiers. I haven't seen anyone discussing this but lightswitch and juggler will make for alot harder raid.
