lmao
Let them ban me for the times I've "cheesed" Crota.
After the initial run-through of the Raid, the scenery doesn't change. Why go through all the motions and inefficiencies when I'm only going back for armor pieces and crafting mats? No, I guarantee I'm going to try and attempt the most efficient method for getting those items, and right now the cheese is the most efficient method.
Besides, if I get banned, I can guarantee that no Bungie game will ever again grace the inside of my disc drive. Ever.
There's plenty of games out there that offer 10-20 times the amount of content Bungie laughably put into this game (ex. Dragon Age: Inquisition), and I would have no issues playing those games instead.
When releasing a game like Destiny, Bungie seems to forget that they actually have competition in their industry, and right now that competition is looking impeccable when compared to the laughingstock of a game that Bungie made.
So go ahead, ban me.
I'll mail Bungie my shattered Destiny disc alongside an audio recording of me laughing hysterically at them. Then I'll go play Dragon Age some more.

I don't think you understand. these are Sony's and Microsoft's ToS and Code of Conduct. Bungie won't ban you, Sony and MS will. How are you going to play your "other games with more content" then if you can't play on your banned system?

Sony and Microsoft don't ban people who use lag switches. (as is extremely obvious from the widespread use of them) Why would they ban this? They stand to lose money when they ban people. It's just like the report function. It's a placebo to make butt hurt people feel like they're doing something. They honestly have zero way to know if it was a server error or a point blank disconnect,or even who the offending party is. This has been proven with the Killer Instinct jail system. Microsoft point blank stated that there's no way to determine the cause/source of the disconnect.

So, Microsoft will ban me because I've quit out of a game? Using their own screen and menu commands? lmao BTW, kiddo. I've been a part of parties that have cheesed Crota, but i've never quit to key it off. Ergo; go -blam!- yourself. lmfao

And the answer to your question is yes, yes they will ban a player, because you are breaking the code of conduct you agreed to by manipulating the connection in order to gain favor, using their own screen and menu commands has nothing to do with integrity. BTW, I'm not a "kiddo", being married with two kids, nice assumption there. And if you're not the one DC'ing then you won't be the one punished. The only person that could be in danger of a ban is the party leader since they are the one that has to DC at the right moment.

People like the OP seem to think that if Bungie bans me, that for some reason I'd be all distraught and I would just quit gaming in its entirety. lmao Far from it. there's plenty of great games out there. Bungie would just ensure that they never again see another dime of my money. And with the way their own Forums and the games review industry is looking at their game, many people feel the same way. So go ahead, ban me. See exactly how much of a shit I give.
