So i wanted the Dark below expansion but i didn't want to link my credit card with my account. So i decided even though it'd be more work i would mosey on down to the nearest store to buy a prepaid code card. Get to walmart only to find out they didn't have it. Not a problem. Gamestop is right down the street after all. Nope. Just kidding. Closed at 6 on sundays. Finally make the trip to best buy and they have a card which in ever way looks like the expansion pack. I get home and input the code only to be credited with $20 dollars. As irritating and less user friendly than xbox live points as it was, i finally figured it out and was ready to start downloading this thing....only to realize its 19.99 PLUS tax. Therefore forcing me to imput my credit card info after all... Seems like minus the RRoD im havin more troubles and a less user friendly experience on my one than my 360. Considering ive only had it a few weeks and this isn't the first (nor second) ordeal i've run in to.
That sucks a lot and sounds like a headache. Xbox does market those code cards as DLC but they are just cash to put towards the content.
Chalk this one up to live and learn.
