I have now seen multiple post on people trying to give the christmas noobs advice on how to level weapons quickly. "Use telemetry before turning in bounties" is the most popular. Why in the heck am I seeing so many replies to those post saying."it's fact that telemetries don't give extra xp on weapons from bounties".? That is a false statement. I read many of these, I went to do the testing myself. It's simple. Go to the tower buy 2 of the exact same weapons from the gunsmith. I used 2 green fusion rifels. Greens have 3 upgrade nodes. Now go and complete 2 2500 bounties of any sort. Equip one of those fusion rifels and put one bounty on it. You will get exactly 2 and a half of the nodes filled.. (I had the nightfall light) so you will get 10% less fill up on the 3rd if you don't have the nightfall complete. Now equip the other fusion rifel use the telemetry and put the other bounty on it. You will get exactly 2 and 3/4 upgrades. Now this will happen exactly the same everytime. I have a ps3 and can't record it to show anyone. But please if you have not Done the test yourself in this way please don't post saying telemetry dont work with boughty xp. We want the Christmas noobs up and running with the rest of us as soon as possible. Also. Hopefully everyone knows that primary takes the most xp, then special weapons take 25% less to upgrade and heavy take 30% less to upgrade than primary. So u can't do this test with 2 different levels of weapon. Please and thank you. Ps.
