An AI thinks logically, a truly logical mind would only do an action that would benefit it. Seeing that answering your stupid a$$ riddle doesn't reward us anything, and we still answer, we are not purely logical and, thus, not AI's.
Plot Twist I Am An AI
English
-
AI does what it's programmed to do.
-
An AI that is programmed to answer is not an AI. It's a program. An AI would have a choice. Meant to post this here, sorry.
-
AI is still programmed. It must be installed by something. Yes, it adapts, but could adapt in only a way as the ones who installed saw fit. They could be installed with fail-safes, commands, and pre-given knowledge. If not, they would become the next human race(essentially). In fact, we may all be AI.
-
Then the question is a paradox, there is no correct answer. Well played, I tip my hat to you.
-
But what about an AI designed for answering stupid riddles? Then the reward is the task, therfor making this possible.
-
An AI that is programmed to answer is not an AI. It's a program. An AI would have a choice.
-
But what if it's limited to specific choices within the choice of already anwering?
-
If it is forced to answer it is not intelligent.
-
So that would make it... an AU.
