Badger CCL - Best Scout Rifle
Got it from Legendary engram, perks are "precision kills drastically increase reload speed" and "ADS increases effective Range". This thing has wonderfully balanced stats and reloads SO quickly. I haven't maxed it yet, but does anyone else have any personal experience or input with this rifle?

I prefer multi-tool, which is the best scout in the game, but when I wanna use another exotic Badger works. You just can't beat the all around utility of the very appropriately named multi-tool(yea badger is 3 headshot kill, while multi tool is 4; I feel like multi-tool can shoot 6 before the badger gets out 3 though).

badger is good, but maybe the one I got had bad perks cuz it was slow and I couldn't handle it. I prefer using vision of confluence, another nitc and my favorite is crusader 1 with firefly and explosive rounds

The badger is in the family of scout rifles that hit like a hand cannon. Gheleons demise is the other one. Best scouts in the game in my opinion. The outlaw perk is a great one.

Rapier > badger! I use scout rifles 99% of the time for pve, so I've upgraded each one I've come across and the rapier is my current favorite. I would have liked to purchase the iron banner scout rifle, since I love the perks it has or you can reroll, but I didn't have enough time to put into it. You can PURCHASE the rapier with outlaw, fast reload after a precision kill and firefly, enemies explode with a precision death. Almost any scout rifle with good rng perks might be beast also. But for a sure thing, but the rapier. Btw I'm on xbox one I'm not sure if it's sold the same way on all consoles.

Range finder is only a 10% buff to range. Not really needed on a scout rifle. Firefly is always good. A reload perk like outlaw/feeding frenzy is good or rodeo/counterbalance to reduce the recoil. Explosive rounds can cause the firefly explosion not to activate so I don't like weapons with both perks. Armour piercing rounds are good, especially for the first part of CE. As you can get several head shots with each shot, causing several explosions.

Mine has maxed out reload speed like the multi tool, and luck in the chamber like the hawkmoon, it's amazing for PVE but I would take a [i]slight[/i] decrease in [b]impact[/b] for a [i]slight[/i] increase to rate of fire. It's dangerously slow in PVP but if you get the drop on somebody it's just dangerous lol.

My Badger has same perks and stats as GD.

I got one with firefly and either armor piercing, high caliber, explosive rounds. I use high caliber since explosive messes with firefly.

Was going to be my next purchase after NITC but had one drop today with explosive rounds and firefly. Things going to be amazing when its maxed out

I managed to get a badger spawn with firefly and high caliber rounds. Best legendary drop ive had. Its been my main primary ever since.

2 RepliesIt is great, but I actually think the stock Gheleon's Demise from the last Iron Banner is the best: it has the same impact, better range, two more shots per magazine and Outlaw and Firefly perks as standard. It really is a brilliant weapon.
