Pretty sure I win this thread.
While attempting to get vex mythoclast (which itself took 37 hard mode atheon kills before I got it) I once got 3 vision of confluence rifles simultaneously from an atheon kill. Not only did I not know this was possible, but I have never heard of it happening to anyone else.
For the record, as great a gun as the vision of confluence is, at the time I got this loot drop I only had 2 guardians and both of them had their own maxed vision of confluence already.

We maintained an oracle checkpoint every week, now we maintain a crota checkpoint for that very reason. Also, I deleted my second titan monday night to make a hunter for the grimoire cards, then deleted that hunter in favor of a second warlock... in the hopes of powerleveling and improving my chances of getting warlock raid gear. Because you looked at the individual "stats" for my primary titan and were not able to view the "activities cleared" on that second titan... I can see how you would be confused. As proof, feel free to check my grimoire cards.

I said 25-30 not sure the exact number I stopped keeping track. I didn't run it on normal but a few times before I started running it on hard

Yesterday I beat crota on all 3 characters and got a single pair of boots and the rest was shards and energy across all nine drops and six chests, Not terrible since I need shards to get to 32 but still a little disappointing. So after 25-30 plus hard atheon kills and still no vex I decided to try to get it today. I beat atheon three times today and got 6 ascendant shards and the sparrow all 3 times. The exact same shitty drop 3 times in a row. this was after I was already pissed after I ran the nightfall and got 11 shards twice in a row. I can't bring myself to run it a third time. I had 180 shards in my vault before any of this and have no use for shards. I'm am thoroughly disgusted with destiny today I think rng finally broke my spirit. Ive played destiny every day since launch but I'm going to have to take a break.

I have received boost already from the crota raid, yet I had the exact same drops as you. The new boots I got had pure strength, same as my previous pair, just a lower value. After my wife had a blue primary turn into the saterinne rapier crucible scout rifle which I worked my ass off to get the crucible marks for even though I hate pvp in destiny...which has the same op perks as the vendor's and the fatebringer, just with a larger clip... I decided to go back to pc games.

I've gotten that drop several times too, I swear I've gotten almost 20 sparrows. It was kind of funny at first but it's not as funny anymore lol

Yeah.. just got the same thing again for like the eight time... what made it worse was the fact that their were two guys in the room who were good players, just constantly talking... I almost quit a couple of times because they would not stop making noise just to make noise... I think one of them would just start making sonar pinging noises non-stop... anyway they both got the vex and you would have thought some redneck just won the price is right... and he went on and on on how long he wanted one and how much he deserved it.... what a d-bag.

There's been about 5 times where I ran with someone who beat never atheon on hard one guy had never raided before and they got the vex on their first run. I was happy for them but honestly they died constantly and didn't really contribute much on beating him but get the drop. That's destiny for you though
