If you don't like NLB....
You probably just need to get better. It is a beautiful Sniper rifle. Only [b]badasses[/b] will know how to properly use it. It's better than Black hammer and ice breaker combined. Yeah I went there.
Edit: You even have people who've soloed Crota's End using only NLB. Allow the saltiness to commence.

Only issue I have with it is the lack of ammo. That's it nothing else.

I like the NLB, my only issue with it, is that it's damage is around half of what my Ice Breaker does. Yes, I know it is a sniper I can equip in my primary slot, but I am giving up an exotic slot that could go to a higher damage gun, for it. Still, it's fun as hell to play with.

I straight own kids with nlb. I decided tonight to just try it out in crucible. Can't put it down, literally. It's like a whole new game. I hope they make more like "throwback" weapons like this. Cause come on in the world of destiny I'm sure there is an old school weapon thay can still get the job done.

Who's stupid enough to waste such an important slot (exotic [i]and[/i] primary, for a crap sniper with jack shit ammo. Obvious troll is obvious. 2/10

This! Combined with any legendary sniper (using Icebreaker for ammo regen for legendary) and you can destroy any NF with just snipers.

The gun obviously accommodates your play style so you are likely much better with it than me or anyone else who dislikes it. We all have that one gun, well most who play enough. But yeah I hate the gun. Looks cool at least

2 RepliesUsing NLB won't solve your casual woes. It's not going to magically remove the anguish of being a scrub in a 1337 MLG world. Although true gamers give the impression that NLB "just works," it's not quite as simple as that. You'll still experience incompatibility and those irritating nuances associated with all forms of being a casual. What you won't experience, however, is a lack of attention to details with the guardian in mind. If you're switching to NLB solely because you're ticked off with your k/d, no exotic will please you. However, if you're willing to make a change that will first be bumpy, but will eventually pay off in terms of overall satisfaction and enlightenment while playing, then you're ready for NLB. You can even use your guardian without having to level a new one specifically for it. You have to be willing to change your entire perception of how sniper rifles should be.

2 RepliesBecause of this gun I now roll around with it and PR. I've almost lost interest in my thorn 2.0... It's just a cool feeling when guardians literally stop firing because they either are in awe at the heads exploding from PRO firefly, or give up because I'm popping to many heads for them to get a kill. Most satisfying weapon to use I've found so far. So beast if you know how to use it efficiently. Wish I had a Xbox One to record stuff, even just for my own viewing pleasure
