One time a girl in my science class asked if you could drink too much water.
I call out from my desk in the back, " Yeah, it's called drowning"

People replying don't seem to know what they're talking about. If you drink too much water your liver won't be able to process it and it will shut itself down. Not only that but whatever your liver would've filtered out will now be absorbed into your system.
-
It's mainly because of osmosis though.
-
Technically no, drowning is suffocation caused by fluid. Although if you drink too much water your brain will swell up.
Its really gross
-
>.> You can die from drinking to much water but it's not drowning. Drowning is when you breathe water in not by overconsumption.
-
You poison yourself from drinking too much water cuz it has small amounts of mercury in it
-
Not always. Even distilled (pure) water will kill you if you drink too much. I believe it has something to do with over saturating your kidneys.
-
You cant distill the mercury in water cuz its part of its base components
-
no its not. you have to be REALLY dumb or REALLY uneducated to not know that neither the H or the O in H2O is murcury. H is the symbol for hydrogen, while O is the symbol for oxygen. H2O is water, it's not requiring mercury for anything.
-
It causes osmosis in your cells.
-
You get my point though
