Halo or Destiny?
Which game is better, Halo or Destiny? Why? Halo started it all, Halo is Bungie's baby. I hear people saying Halo is better than Destiny on here all the time, and everywhere people say this. (Destiny is only winning due to it being a Destiny forum and it has Playstation users also now. )

3 RepliesEarly Halos > Destiny. 343 halo main story otherwise known as 90% of old Bungie > destiny < halo PvP. Halo 5 beta though...the game has moved on! Genuinely excited :). Seriously though, Halo for me from ODST onwards was about the story only. Although Destiny is flawed and a poor, poor comeback from a company that was always praised for their story and innovative gameplay (look at the actual aggregate review websites), it is fiendishly addictive! Bought Cod AW the day it came out...still haven't played it yet lol.

1 ReplyPre-Halo 4 Halo games > Destiny 343's Halo < Destiny Seriously. They took the exo dash from Advanced Warfare, (terrible, terrible game) added in a ground pound, and added aiming down the sights to Halo. On top of all of that 343 proved the are incompetent with the launch of the MC collection. [spoiler]to sum it up, Halo is dead, the majority of the old community is gone as well[/spoiler]

I love Destiny but I'd go with Halo because I've actually played it.. Most PlayStation kids haven't played Halo. That's why it's toward Destiny right now.

Depends on what you mean by halo. halo to me is pre Reach. That's classic halo. If there the case then Halo. Halo 2 and Halo 3 were two of the greatest PvP games of all time bar none. Hell I have 5 playlist 50s on this account with halo 3. Destiny will be a great game, but for now Halo wins.

I know, destiny sold blah blah during launch... seriously... look at the halo sales across the board, not even including merchandise, and the new halo game has not even launched. #2 - PvP... there isn't even MLG, tournaments, or custom games in destiny... although fun, you can barely compare the two #3 - Story... sigh. #4 - Legacy... halo is just too big. There is a ton of hype around destiny... but in 10 years will you still be playing it? No... due to servers being shut off. That was a mean joke, I apologize. #5 - Reviews... as much as everyone hates IGN, Gamespot, Kotaku... there reviews DO matter, a lot... and almost every halo game has stomped destiny. Keep in mind, I like destiny... I am not "hating" on destiny. I honestly believe it isn't even fair to compare them... just trying to keep it real for you guys.

Halo I've been playing destiny since it launched and it finds a way to make doing the same things over and over again addicting now I just got halo MCC and I've been playing the story of halo 1 cause I've never played it and in some odd way it feels so -blam!-ing good way better than destiny and there's always some new and fun

While 343 has totally ruined the Halo franchise, Halo 3 is still and will always be the best game of all time of any genre on any system. This is my opinion. Thank you.
