That's an outstanding example, and I'd love to see it implemented. Sadly, Bungie pretty much just ignores the Feedback Forums. Anytime we get word from DeeJ (and it's only ever DeeJ, the rest of the devs refuse to come onto the Forums and actually engage with their players...) it's just "hey, we've been thinking about some similar things. I've heard it being tossed around in our daily meetings". Nothing concrete. nothing to say whether they're working on anything at all, just that they "talk about it". It's pretty insulting.
