Get with the times? You just don't appreciate there are other countries in the world apart from 'Murica.

This seems like a contradiction, the op listed their prefer date methodology and got bashed because theirs didnt conform to others ideal methodology. In this example the op is american and the bashers are i presume European so how is it Americans are not appreciating others when its the opposite? The whole argument about which is right is stupid because all it is which one each of us were taught growing up. Chronological makes sense but only because its been around and accepted other then that its nothing. Month, date, year makes sense in speech and writing while day month and year makes sense numerically.
Month, date, year makes sense in speech
This is only because it's what you were taught. But nice try. Logic > america

The argument is not stupid, arguing about it is. The most common form of date representation that has been used since hundreds and hundreds of years before America even existed is DD/MM/YY It's no surprise that if you post a date then there's a good chance someone is going to assume it's in the most common format unless they have prior knowledge of the posters nationality.

He's saying all other calendars are wrong and his is right.

Or maybe other countries have to feel get are right on everything and no one should be different. I don't respect arrogance, which comes from most other places in more abundant amounts.

Your reply is of no relevance to the argument what so ever.
