I am currently working on 500 kill with void weapon in crucible stage. I am not very good in PvP and the only void weapon I have is sniper rifle any suggestions on how to complete this.

I did this by getting a crappy fusion rifle and playing control for a few hours. Go for kills above all else, don't hold points, and keep moving. Most people in control expect you to bunk down after getting a kill and run right back to the point they died at, they don't expect you to keep running and hit someone defending another point. I thought my team would think I was sort of a scumbag for not helping capture points, but we ended up winning most of the time.

play control, and play conservatively.

Grab a void fusion from gunsmith if he sells one. Preferably one with nice range/quick charge. Because damage is evened out for weapons in crucible it won't matter lvl or quality. Play safely. I prefer control because enemies generally congregate in known areas. GL

I used a cheap shotgun with void. But if you are at a point of giving up find 5 people willing to die for you make two teams of 3 and have both teams launch rumble at the same time after the match exit match making and have both teams launch again. I personally don't like cheese but I know people that have done it like that and it worked.

I just did this myself (trying to get a group on PS4 to do the strike now). I'm a Warlock so it was easier for me but i'd suggest leaving it until you've got at least a void Fusion rifle or shotgun. I used a fusion myself and it helped a lot

Defender Titian here... A's Epilogue and a void shotgun... But most kills were with sticky void grenade and melee. All of which count for void damage. Control is your friend! I had one lucky run and racked up 200/500 in one control match.

I you are a warlock don't be overly aggressive. If you are in a pack, which you should be, just lob a axiom bolt grenade in a enemy group and stand back and let the other make the kill shots. You'll still get the 5 per kill.

As most have said, void fusion. Make it your friend and the points will rack up quickly. Oh and always try to hang with someone else. Don't go Rambo or you'll die more than kill.

Also you don't need 500 kills...its something like 5 pts per kill -3 per death

I did this with my warlock and primarily using a void sniper. Just watch where other players with snipers camp and use those spots. Normally works best on control where you can snipe at the control points or from the control points while others come at you. go slow and don't rush into situations. It probably took me half a dozen rounds to get used to it, and I had a few negative rounds while I did, but after practice and getting used to the maps you should start racking up the kills. I had Atheon's epilogue and Truth, but after a few rounds of practice I was getting all my kills with the sniper and my nova bomb.

Void walker, epilogue, fusion, corrective measure

Void fusion or shotgun, camp control points in control.

My advice is to find and use a void fusion rifle or shotgun. I was never good at pvp either, this quest will change that. If you're on Xbox One, I could use some help on the strike.
