You say that, but Canada has never lost a war. Not even with Murrica. Also, we buy massive amounts of hardware from the USA under recommendation of, who else, the USA. The USA benefits far more from our military treaty than Canada does, and they also have more accountable power, and so it's a recursive ideal.
