I personally dislike Fusion Rifles in the Crucible; and a lot of others dislike Shotguns. I posted something to this effect and one user suggested that Destiny introduce a Gametype Selection (Control / Clash / Rumble / PRIMARY) that would take you into a Primary Weapons only competition. What do you think? (Credit goes to: ThePuffDaddyQ) NOTE: Yes I know there are a few primary shotguns and primary fusions... but they are quite rare at present.
