Level 24 hunter looking for help with VoG
I need help doing VoG so that I can rank up I've tried doing multiple things and I still won't rank up if anyone can help me pls message me at Massivezilla. Thank you and may the force be with you

Stop being a ducking lazy ass, go spend a whole day to do the strikes on the playlist, get vanguard marks, then BUY your armor. You obviously haven't tried everything or else you would be a 31. Btw if it won't let you start the VoG or any other mission because it says you need better armor, then you are not ready for it.

2 RepliesFirst off, no. Main thing you'll contribute is deaths. Enemy levels start at 26 but they don't stay that way. Second, your level isn't going to rise unless you get gear with higher light. That's why you won't level up. The more light a piece offers, the higher your level will go.

Do bounties for the vanguard or crucible and buy some legendary gear they sell. I did the vault of glass and all I got was ascendent shards, energy, mote or light, and a couple strange coins. It's useless. You have to be really lucky in order to get gear from the raid. Try getting the legendary gear selling in the tower.

The best thing you could do to help you level up is bounties. Bounties help you gain both xp and vanguard marks (and commendations). Use the acquired marks and commendation/s to purchase legendary armor in the tower and complete the bounties daily to level your new gear up. VoG at this point would be counter productive to you and your fire team until you rank up.
