The problem with that perk is that it isn't very effective at all and does nothing if you aren't Very close to them. That's why the majority of sunsingers run radiant skin or fireborn.

Radiant skin is cool. But self rez never usually seems very helpful. Especially when you have a team that doesn't die that often.
