Usually what such word brings to me would be another, 'Warmaster'.
And a Volge Warmaster is an example, despite the bulkiness of the creature.
I think you'd suit leaning on a hybrid of walking tank with magic (to boost speed, to engulf yourself and foes in flame, to briefly walk through stuff (magic noclip?))... Actually, Legion'ri also use magic to lace their rounds with elemental damage, among millions of other non-combat sub-functions magic can serve, a favourite is conjuring food.
How did the Kal'eon learn this? We stole some Burning Legion (Warcraft type) members. We have Dreadstrife in the Kal'eon, who is a demon, leading a splinter Legion with aid of Skel'khan, his Felguard.
Note that with your current state of form, incorporating the strength/agility/expanded intelligence would be easy, but importing the knowledge of spells will not... *A bookshelf, full of varying books on many types of spells, among some other useful data, materializes next to you.* ...This should deal with that issue. There are also several non-critical tomes that you may be interested in.
