Once halo master chief comes on playstation I'll switch my answer. So never basically. I have played halo 3 and reach and they were fun but I love the mmo aspect of lvling up in destiny.

  • Just take mmo out that sentence and I'm fine with what you said. Skyrim isn't an MMO, it's level-up system doesn't make it MMO-like. It's just a leveling system. You basically just said that cancer and aids are like a common cold.

I said mmo aspects such as online only. Your analogy isn't exactly correct since I'm saying they have similarities. Basically I'm saying aids, cancer and the common cold decrease your health which is an aspect they share. I'm not saying destiny is an mmo but it has aspects of an mmo.

Basically, there is nothing about destiny that remotely touches an mmo aspect.

Raids, dungeons (strikes) class system, skills (mostly passive but still applicable). Also what mmo's out there are not online only. It's in the acronym Massive multiplayer online.

  •
Raids
I can spray paint a turd and call it a lump of gold, but it doesn't change what it actually is. 6 people playing together is a dungeon at best, not a raid.
dungeons (strikes) class system, skills (mostly passive but still applicable).
All attributes not bound to mmos. They're all available in ME3, does that make ME3 mmo-like?
It's in the acronym Massive multiplayer online.
What about Destiny is massive? 16 players in the tower?

  • Saying they share aspects of an MMOrpg would not be wrong because this game shares a ton of aspects that the MMO genre has, even bungie says they share MMO aspects however it isn't one, they say it's a shared world shooter.
