Oh man. RS was my first real MMO. I spent too much time on it and the two years I played it I call "the dark ages" of my life. Last I remember I hit 106 in RS 2 terms and focused on all combat abilities, agility, and mining. The rest I didn't bother with. Got into a couple clans, but I never stayed nor made any friends. I stopped because I literally said "There is really just too much that needs to be done yet." And quit on the spot.

  • Did you quit when they took away the wildy?

  • Nah I think I joined after wildy went down. I was glad for that too; I hated the idea.

  • I -blam!-ing hated the idea that if I just walked into a place I would lose all my gear because I wanted to go there.

Haha but it's a very specified area. You'll know you were getting in it. First timers got warnings. Signs were posted. The risks were explained. You had 1v1 zones and also free for all zones.

Walking on pvp territory wasn't a necessity of the game. It was an option. There was only a chance at a benefit of going in to it and avoiding players to reap the resources. The benefit was only because you were taking an increased risk

  • It made pvp a serious thing. Say you go into this arena and you have your ghorn equipped. If you die it's done. Gone. Unless you have a certain skill that can protect your best item. Losing it may, sound bad. But you have the chance to get other people's ghorns. Last words. Or anything you want. Not to mention their exotic gears... ignore my run ons and incorr3ct Grammer I got fervent
