It is all money.
I get that you think Microsoft made Bungie but that goes both ways. Halo was a huge game that helped Xbox get some legs. Many forget that PS2 dominated the console wars and the original Xbox was way behind.
I am not a fan of exclusive content on cross platform games but it is here to stay.
