Justify cheesing crota.
If you cheese crota, here are my assumptions of you.
1. It's too hard for you.
2. You're lazy.
3. You have never learned to do it the right way.
4. You think there's no problem with it.
5. You think it's cool.
6. You think it's bungie's fault.
7. You did it once and think bungie owes you a level 32 character.
8. "I don't have time" when you've played 700+ hours.
When the hard raid comes out and you're walking around clueless, I will laugh in your face and boot anyone who asks how to kill crota legit.
Edit: seems like everyone claims they can't find 5 other people. Not a valid reason. My friend did it solo and I did it with only one other person in 3 minutes. So try something else.
Edit 2: So, it comes down to this. People either agree with me or they hate me because they can't do it legit. I love these people! Haha.

That's how it was with atheon. As a warlock main I was plagued with raid invites from squeakers, and some non squeakers too, asking me to come help them push atheon off. I simply responded no. I haven't been able to find a group to run Crota with because they always want to cheese and I don't want any part of it. I've seen it with atheon. I did my dues with Templar, but I refuse to drop Crota to his knee and ask him for marriage.

My option is the option where i would most likely be kicked when im the only one who doesnt want to cheese so id rather go along with it than wait an hour for a new team

I've done both ways, I like doing it legit, it's still fun and relatively simple. Only cheese it when my raid group can't get online, sucks but I'm not going to give up gear when other peoples schedules get in the way.

And i treat every grind the same - work smarter, not harder, get it done as fast as possible because there are hours and hours to grind away on other shit in the game. If the group im in wants to do it legit i will but if the randoms who invite me off LFG want to cheese i'm not gonna rage out of the game and waste time looking for another party to do it with. This game isn't life, try not to get so butthurt because others do things differently from you.

You justify plug pull, you justify network manipulation and cheating for invincibility/etc. in pretty much ALL online games, whether it's crucible or CoD or even Smash Bros. Cheese=cheap, whatever. Plug pull=network manipulation. Cheating. If you justify plug pulling, you're supporting online cheating. If you cheese the boss by being cheap and not network manipulation, fine. But those who do SHOULD be banned for the same reason as the people who got banned for infinite heavy ammo in crucible. "Network manipulation."

For three reasons: 1 no raid boss should ever be soloable 2 the fight is boring and needs to be more fun 3 so self-righteous people stop making these posts

2 RepliesThere is no justifying cheesing Crota. Templar, Atheon(back when not many people had Gjallahorn), Bridge, you can say that you can do it legit but you do it this way to save time. You can't apply that excuse to Crota because in the time it takes to cheese him once, you could be finishing up your third Crota kill.
