Justify cheesing crota.
If you cheese crota, here are my assumptions of you.
1. It's too hard for you.
2. You're lazy.
3. You have never learned to do it the right way.
4. You think there's no problem with it.
5. You think it's cool.
6. You think it's bungie's fault.
7. You did it once and think bungie owes you a level 32 character.
8. "I don't have time" when you've played 700+ hours.
When the hard raid comes out and you're walking around clueless, I will laugh in your face and boot anyone who asks how to kill crota legit.
Edit: seems like everyone claims they can't find 5 other people. Not a valid reason. My friend did it solo and I did it with only one other person in 3 minutes. So try something else.
Edit 2: So, it comes down to this. People either agree with me or they hate me because they can't do it legit. I love these people! Haha.

Earn: "to gain or get in return for one's labor or service: to earn one's living" So, in my opinion, it doesn't matter HOW someone completes the Raid or the Nightfall or whatever, all that matters is that they've successfully completed the task. You choose to kill the lion with rocks and sticks; they choose to shoot the lion in the forehead with an AK-47. The lion still dies either way. It's a matter of opinion.

20 RepliesBecause a win is a win. Better yet they will soon be patching it for the hard raid. Hence why they released the easy raid first so they could have the community find every single cheese technique then release the hard. I've save myself probably around... 5-6 hours by cheesing the raid since it's come out after I realized how much faster you can do it (3 legit runs the first week) that's 5-6 hours I've now invested into dead orbit soooooo I don't really have a problem with it. The hard raid is what's going to really matter anyways.

2 RepliesThe raid is not hard up until Crota where at if you have a rag tag group of guardians from lfg, you are screwed. Simple as that.

I'll admit to number 2...sometimes. I've only beaten Crota twice legit. I've never been the fireteam leader in the new raid so far, and have kinda had to go along with what the rest of the team wanted to do.

Why do I have to justify anything to you???? Cheesing doesn't mean I haven't or don't know how to do it. It's a video game!!! I don't have issues with other players getting same gear I have and I don't get a different satisfaction from gears I got whether through cheese, or without.

If you come into my group and you are not wearing raid gear and don't know how to do it I will gladly teach you. If you come into my raid group asking if we're gonna cheese or say you don't wanna do it legit and you are wearing raid gear on it's an instant boot you scrubs.

4 RepliesI have done Crota legit once but every group I find wants to cheese and if I say no they kick me so it's either I stick up for not cheeseing and get nothing or keep my mouth shut and get something 😔

I fall under 2 and 4. I've done it legit several times, know all the fights. Until the hard version comes out I just want my shards.

12 RepliesI do it both ways, legit and cheese. Let me say this. I'll try it legit till the first time it glitches, then I'm done. I spent a couple hours last night in the VOG for no other reason than we couldn't get the Atheon battle to quit glitching. From teleporting people in containment fields, to teleporting too many or not enough. One time, his ass froze and he didn't teleport anyone. Then after to "supposed" timestreams, he did teleport us..... ALL OF US.... and we ALL DIED instantly. I'm not down with that. Personally, I love the game and what they have done with it. End of story. However, I would request that they fix the glitches in the VOG and Atheon before, not after they start patching the cheese. If you need to slow things down, turn down the loot drop or stop dropping weapons until the cheese is fixed, but please fix the glitches. They are killing me :(
