Going there. Troll response or no. Valid means (of an argument or point) having a sound basis in logic or fact; reasonable or cogent. Both of my answers are fact, and both are logical. Two other meaning also exist however 1 haas do with legalities the 2nd is legally or officially acceptable. Being that bungie owns the game, they are the official decider and logic would lead us to cheering being acceptable as they continue to allow it. When they choose not to allow it, they ensure it cannot happen, as they did with atheon and other push off the edge slices of cheese.
