Actually it's a network glitch.

It's my disk that I payed for, therefore if a certain way is easier and I choose to do it, I can do it. Justified

Ah but you only purchased a license to play the game. It is not "your" game. Bungie and Activision did not sign an agreement giving all rights to you to allow you to do with it as you please. But YOU agreed to not manipulate the network. And violating that is an issue. So, in the end you're wrong.
