7 RepliesMass Effect and Destiny aren't really comparable. Neither have had equivalent time to develop and evolve, they're different genres (ME being an RPG with some cover shooting, and Destiny being an FPS with a few RPG/MMO elements thrown into the mix), and they focus on different things. Mass Effect is a story, a journey. Destiny is a shooter, through and through. It's like comparing a Shark to a Tiger. Sure, they're both predators, but they're adapted for different environments and have evolved to hunt different things.

1 ReplyMass effect had a (better) story and I really loved me3mp. But after playing the story through multiple times and logging over 1100h in me3mp I feel it's a bit seen game. So now it's Destiny over Mass Effect for me. Hope this changes when ME4 (or whatever it will be called) comes out :)

The ending of both are almost equally bad. Other than that ME may be the best sci fi game ever. Well at least single player game that is.

Your right mass effect 1 had more planets , guns, armor, classes, abilities, story and choice. Bungie should a chapter out of biowares book for destiny 2

The gunfights in Destiny are a lot better. But the Mass Effect story was still better. I've played Destiny more though....

7 RepliesMass effect is a top 3 game series of all time for me so I wouldn't disagree, but I know plenty of people who couldn't get into it because they don't like cutscenes (a lot of the younger generation 17-22 I've noticed like my cousins and literally every one of their friends find cutscene/dialog heavy games boring). Kills me every time I argue with them over video games...

2 RepliesShooting sucks in all the mass effects. Especially the first. Destiny's shooting is much, much better. Mass Effect has a great story. Mostly. Heard the ending sucked, only played through the first two all the way.

There's no competition. Especially in terms of story. Mass effect has more content in a single main location than destiny does on all its planets.

3 RepliesYeah mass effect was amazing... But I want to play a new game now. And i don't care what people say, I felt betrayed by the ending to mass effect 3. I wanted to see that big bug queen I rescued come in and crack some reaper heads. I wanted to see all those Krogan I helped rampage across the battlefield creating a sea of reaper blood. I wanted to have a massive showdown with the harbinger, fighting a real final boss instead of that anti-climactic bs with the illusive man. Mass effect 2 was the best.
