I've prevented several accidental wipes with it. Sure, you're not popping your super to do damage whenever it's up, but having to restart a nightfall or wiping on a boss at low health is worse. When you're doing a raid how many blade dancers and strikers do you see spamming their supers on bosses? None. They use them on trash to generate orbs for who? Sunsingers and defenders. Defenders can get their supers really quick so it's not entirely necessary. I just don't think you have a clue what you're talking about and are butthurt because you don't have it.
