It's great when the boss is almost dead, and then goes berserk and kills everyone. Because then the 'lock can revive everyone and they can resume Ending Crota, or shattering the Vault of Glass. All in all, it's about strategy, and not having a balanced team is bad strategy. Maybe that's the reason raid groups can have 6 people, one of each subclass?
