i dont think its a crutch at all and i KNOW there r ppl who use it as a back up plan for mistakes. like those people who rez RIGHT after they die without assessing the situation ifbthey need to hold if off in case group wipes.
also, self rez in pvp imo is not as good as survivability and not dying.
i personally dont think its worth self rezzing after getting killed in pvp esp around larger group of ppl.
yeah it can be satisfying to get back at the dude who killed u but i dont find it tactical most of the time. i run radiant skin so i can last longer in defending the flag
now if u are in a premade game thats a diff story....
u can tell ur teammates.
"ok got killed man, im gonna let these group of enemies cap the flag then when they (if they) leave im gonna recap it after rez. may need some backup."
this applies to pve as well. when i die, its usually a really dumb mistake or in a very difficult firefight.
i always tell people before hand DO NOT come rez me and risk ur life if the situation sucks.
if they are in trouble, i rez to come help or rez them after observing.
But yeah seen way too many people who use this as a clutch rather than being tactical with it.
fellow sunlocks, even with fireborn, play as if you are doing the "do not die in strikes." lol
