Hunters are the skilled class.
They don't have any defensive ability like titans bubble or warlocks self rez.
Also you can solo almost everything way easier with a skilled hunter.

Agreed, hunters take skill and patience which most gamers don't have
-
-
I actually think its easier to run nighfalls on my hunter than my titan or warlock because of invis. I ran stealth through the first cave this nightfall no problem. Don't touch me!!!!
-
I don't even use invisibility.
-
solo almost everything way easier with a skilled hunter.
going invisible..............isnt a skill, just like self reserecting isnt a skill
-
GOING invisible is not a skill. USING invisible is most definitely a skill. You need patience, timing, and a thorough knowledge of your abilities and cool downs. Warlocks can be terrible and get their Mulligan. It makes you less careful and generally bad players are warlocks.
-
I disagree, its the hunters easy mode perk, just like the warlocks self rez is the warlocks easy mode. most bad players are warlocks, is that a fact or based on your own experiences? I have 1 of each character, do i become a bad player when I use the warlock?

Self res is sort of instinct when you die. Hunters have to know when and where to go invisible.

No defensive abilities. ...goes invisible
-
That's more tactical than defensive in my opinion
-
You can argue that with anything. ....Melee to go invis and nothing hits you, sounds defensive to me lol
-
Think of it like camouflage. It's something that can't defend you. It can't stop bullets
-
Neither can self rez
-
That, in my opinion is also tActical. It can't stop bullets, but to be fair, doesn't going into sunsinger give you extra armor. Correct me if I'm wrong.
-
If you set it up that way. Depends on your play style.
-
Except in pve it can because they won't shoot you. ...no way you can tell me it's not defensive.
-
I can. Because if you are hit your still damaged and your no longer invisible. It doesn't protect you from anything, it just makes enemies turn a blind eye towards you or not see you at all. Again it's like camouflage
-
Nothing will shoot though. If you're doing this whole tactical stealth thing you're clearly going at something alone. Enemies don't just randomly fire off a few practice shots.
-
Think about it in a real life scenario though. If something went invisible in front of you, you wouldn't just stop and focus on something else you would probably shoot in that direction or something. And even still in this game it doesn't protect you directly. You can still be injured if a vandal with one of the homing bullets shoots at you before you go invisible
-
Why would you even take a real life scenario into account, and why would you try to go invisible in the middle of fire in the first place. Point is in this game invisibility is essentially invulnerability
-
why would you try to go invisible in the middle of fire in the first place.
That's the main reason why it's not a defensive ability. And i didn't need to bring a real life scenario into it, I just felt the need to prove a point on why its a tactical ability
-
completely agree! time to vanish
-
Lol just like how titans have their blinding grenades AND a blinding bubble when they have that helm equipped! Hunters going invis is their only method of staying alive in hard times, so it's defensive, while at the same time can be used tactically to kill the enemy in pvp or pve it doesnt really matter. If you're good enough you can use it as a surpassed attack in pvp, and even if you don't have glaucoma you won't see it coming
