Both, depending on what played out.
If its a warlock rescuing a team, then it's the team's crapness that's the problem.

Yea. It is a bit of a crutch but I wouldn't always blame the warlock for it. Sometimes you're carrying the crutch to give it to the crippled team you play with. I play medic on my hunter a lot but I leave them dead until I decide to revive them.
