You using striker titan is a crutch so if you get surrounded you can freak out and knock everything back so you can run away.
Using golden gun is a crutch because you can't get normal kills so you need that one hit kill or some big damage on bosses so you don't need to stay alive as long since you die a lot.
Using nova bomb is a crutch because you it's just a big bomb to kill all the enemies because you can't do it like a normal guardian.
