Let's just stop and think for a second: Why on hell would they make VoG weapons 331? Seriously, shouldn't high level raids give better weapons with MORE power attack? This just doesn't make any sense. What you guys are asking is: everytime a new dlc is released, the old dlc weapons should be the same as the new weapons. I mean I love my fatebringer, but it just doens't make sense bumping those weapons to the same level as the new raid weapons.

No because all it does is make previously valuable content obsolete instead of making a copy an paste of the previous raid weapons with a higher damage cap. This game needs to open up more options not restrict itself and players even further.

This. Want better gear? Run the harder raids. Want to stay relevant? Play the relevant raids. There's no point to upgrading old stuff. Crota's end will eventually have a better hand cannon than the Fatebringer. We haven't even seen the hard raids weaponry.

Possibly you're right but as it stands the VoG is completely pointless for old and new Guardians.. That's what's wrong.. They shouldn't be selling better gear than the first raid.. It should be a stepping stone to the next raid and the next level.

Indeed, making factions sells better stuff than VoG was of the most STUPID ideas I ever saw in a online game.

If the Vanguard cap was lower, people would use VoG to level up to 30, then begin CE. Making things a natural progression. Instead of handing out commendations for ranks, they should have forced people to finish VoG raids to earn something to buy higher level items from the Vanguard.

Yup, exactly. My thought was possibly even having a Lv 32 VoG with the possible drop off 331 weapons and Lv 31 Gear that could be upgraded to Lv 32 with an item you can only get in Crota's End. This way VoG is still worthwhile, VoG weapons can still be used, and if you want Lv 32 then you still must play Crota's End. Thoughts?
