*EDITED*
I didn't know Iron Banner sold level 36 gear (as people are telling me), so this post is moot...I'm on level 31 anyways, and thanks for the funny responses...how I love what people say on the internet. I never thought about level 32 being necessary only for raid purposes, so I guess I don't need it
And if you are wondering, I DO RAIDS, but I do not get good drops, so it was just an idea

I agree wholeheartedly. Other options for light 36 gear should exist. However, there still needs to be a way to make the raid gear better and more desirable than other gear. I suggested a long time ago that instead of making the raid gear the only light 36 gear, they instead give the raid gear much better perks or more perks, to make it more attractive to work towards.

+ 50 Guardian tears 650 tears 2 exotic tears Thanks!

If you don't want to play with others don't subscribe for xbox live.
-
How about you make an effort and actually put the work in like the rest of us?
-
Well... before the dlc dropped, the Iron Banner would let you buy lvl 30 gear after you ranked up your rep... not sure why that isn't done now, or maybe it will next time. Of course, they only had legs and arms...
-
It'll be available in iron banner next time it comes up
-
I would agree with you 100% if it was not possible to solo the raid. Have never beaten crota but have managed to get gloves/boots/gaunts from lamps/bridge. And of that's too hard you can even cheese them if you wish..
-
I felt the same way until I started doing raids. Get some people that are about fun and not about results and you should be able to score some of this elusive gear.
-
Why else would it matter to get to 32?
-
Learn to run the raid solo, if you don't want to work with others then that's your only option. As a lv31 you can get all the way to Crota and have a chance at the raid chest, boots, and arms. With an exo helm that should get you to 32, then you can kill Crota at lv32 for the helm and some raid weapons.
-
Just wait, shortly before the next dlc you'll be able to get 36 armor from doing iron banner or something similar for those who mostly play pvp.
-
You only need to be 32 for the hard raid anyway. What's the big deal?
-
No it's not, was that way to get to 30 before the expansion other than iron banner and Osiris is the same I believe
-
-
Solo the first two parts, wear exotic helm, get 32...
-
You can get all the armor you need to hit 32 by yourself, hunters solo the first 2 parts super easy. You can get everything besides helmet.
-
Just solo first few parts of raid.
-
I agree it sucks having to grind raids to get the gear especially since all but 2 of the people I play with have quit playing. 1 of which never raided because he didn't want to play with random people and got frustrated that he couldn't get enough people on at 1 time to do it.
-
I know some people may disagree with me on this, but I think light 36 armor should be obtainable by other means other than just doing raids. I really want to get to level 32, and I do not like having to contact people all the time just to do a raid to get there. I think it would be more fair if light 36 armor could be obtained by other means, such as purchasing them from the sellers (maybe for 200 marks), or even sometimes through random drops, or if the current light 33 armor can be upgraded through Xur. I wouldn’t mind raids giving out exclusive raid armor, but the fact that level 36 armor can only be obtained through raids is unfair to me. Anyone else agree?
Dont be a shit-blam!-? U can beat crota in 30 mins doin it legit!
-
No I don't agree. Expecially since the first two parts are solo able
-
Nope. There should be a difference between raid vs. Non raid And I'm a 31 and will never raid. I like the fact that there are people who ha e the time to commit to something like a raid and have something to show for it.
-
The 36 light armor is really only needed for the raid. If you not raiding, you don't need it. It makes sense to me that they would make this armor obtainable only through the raid as it is going to prep you for the hard raid. It actually makes perfect sense to me. If I didn't raid, I wouldn't care about the 36 light stuff. But don't worry, you'll be able to buy this high level shit when the the next DLC hits. Hang tight guardian!!!
-
I think they should keep it to raid and iron banner only
-
No lets just buy are way to 32 no that's the stupidest thing I grinded forever to get to 30 and they come out and make it where you can be 31 just by buying armor you want to be 32 without playing the raid wait for iron banner to sell new armor which will and should take longer than getting there by raid
-
...so basically "i WANT it, handed to me on a silver platter', otherwise it's 'unfair and too hard', right? xD
-
Ya gotta work...they put it out from day one. ..this is how it is...the end
