Death is inevitable, particular mechanics are not. They can be changed. Poor analogy

  • In response, his end result is extinction and it might not be Comet that does it. Does that mean his is poor? I could win a race by running or walking, would it change the fact I still won?

You said my analogy is poor because the circumstances of ones death could be changed, correct? His is just the same. His end result is extinction of "dinosaurs" and it might not be the comet DLC that does it. Wouldn't that make his just as poor? The last bit was just a parallel to this. I win a race, I can either walk it or run it but I'll still win it. Does the circumstance matter at this point?
This is assuming the mechanics bit was about my analogy as I interpreted it to be, but by the puzzled response it probably was not the case.
It isn't an attempt at a coherent analogy, its just a silly joke.
