Grinding is a huge part of the game, heck it's been a part of gaming for decades. If you want the rewards, do the work. It's not all 'pointless'during the 'grind' you will learn which weapons and setups suit you. You will meet new people in dailys and weeklys and even make good friends. Then, when the rewards come you will feel elated and like you have truly earned them :) Pre DLC most of us were stuck at 29 simply waiting for an item or 2 to drop in the VOG, that was daft so now you can get there through hard work.
