You guys realize that in the VoG, weapons over 300 and armor over 30 don't have any greater effect right?
Might as well use those VoG weapons s for their oracle perks and that armor for the minotaur/super/oracle perks. It maxes at level 30, so it's not going to give you more damage and more defense from 30+ weapons and armor.

Wish people did research before making these posts, every level you go up does make a diffrence, your defense is greater, your weopons are stronger not by 25% like the penalty but it does matter

I understand how the leveling works, however in my tests in the vault, wearing my 31 gave me no increase in defense over my vault gear. Likewise, I have old and new versions of weapons that did not appear do any difference in damage. I'd also not give up the perks as well. Please don't be a pretentious asshole, with the phrase "wish people did research" when you present no research yourself. Mmmmk?

You don't "present" research you present results, and just cause you do not imidiately notice it does not mean it's not there, like I said the difference is much less than the 25% for being under the cap, but it is thier if you take your same gun and swap from lvl 30 to 31 you will see a damage increase, also if you watch your health carefully you can see the defense difference

This is not true. I used to believe this and used a 300 attack Hawkmoon, which took two shots to kill a level 30 goblin. (critical) But when I upgraded it to 331, it does in fact 1 shot them every time and DOES do more damage.
