What if we could exchange, lets say 3 VoC, at the gunsmith for an upgraded one. It could also cost maybe 10 ascendant energy and/or some kind of synthesis (depending on the weapon type) and some glimmer. This way, if you want an upgraded VoC and only have one, it gives you a reason to grind the VoG. Just a thought. It would give the old raid AND the gunsmith purpose.
Any thoughts?
The same could be done with armor at the vanguards.

It's how Bungie likes doing business. Nothing is easy or free. If you want it you've got to grind for it.

I'd be annoyed with the multiple weapons i've dismantled... knowing my luck i'd never get them again either if this was implemented :P But saying that, I'm all for a chance to get 331 fatebringer!

I agree. It would be annoying. They'd definitely have to increase the size of the vault so people could store them until they have enough.
