Let me ask you an honest question: If I told you I was coming to your house to deliver you a gift, and when you came to the door I gave you a bag of used condoms and fried chicken bones would you be grateful for the grift you received? Being given something does not necessarily mean you should be grateful for it. Many of us want changes for this game, things like: fixing the raids, fixing the heavy ammo loss glitch, adding more vault space, increasing glimmer/mark caps, adding better community features, etc... I for one would have been far happier with any of those things than any free item in the game, but when that free item happens to be a near worthless vendor item that I have no interest in I can't help but feel annoyed that Bungie thinks this is enough to make us forget about the other issues. I really love Destiny, but I'm tired of Bungie ignoring the things we want and giving us stuff we don't.

The Small legendary Christmas gift we were told about is totally a patch to fix glitchesand new game mechanics. People are funny. This thread is about what you got but instead your whining to a bunch of people that don't care. Try using a proper thread to complain on. Trust me I think this game needs a lot of work to be great but this is not the thread I'll go on a giant rant about it.

If you'll notice, my comment is not actually directed to this thread at all, but to a comment made by another user; who might I add was already off topic. My point is that they shouldn't have given us legendary gifts to begin with; they should have had the foresight to see that it would only upset the community and that no one would have wanted them at all. I would much rather see Bungie working on improving the game than handing out worthless gifts.

I agree with you there. Get a gift and then whine about it. This community complains about everything and it makes it harder for the real complaints to be heard and I totally want all that you listed for sure. Anyway might as well get on topic I got the fusion rifle plug one.1 or something I already had one but whatever it was a freebie. Hopefully all the new guys will get to make use of their gifts.

On subject I got the LDR 5001, Arc with Firefly; considering that it has similar stats as The Supremacy it may replace it as my non-exotic arc sniper.

Well that because half of us aren't christmas newbs who need this junk. I can speak for a lot of people when I say this, I would've been happier with nothing than expecting something that is an actual "token of gratitude" to end out being something useless. They said we would receive a small but legendary token of gratitude for those whom have stuck with us. Not exactly what they said but thats how I read it. To be honest for most of us we have had this junk from a nightfall and dismantled it so why won't we dismantle it now. Now the whole thing I see is why couldn't they just come up with a gift that people wouldn't want to dismantle.

Stop it. I hate when people say this. Its not like you have a bunch of people complaining who have only put a few hours in that are acting like trolls. Most of the time its people who have put a ton hours in and have found, like the majority of the game industry that this game was poorly put together. This game is an absolute grind fest to the fullest and anyone saying differently is lieing to themselves. Games such as destiny are supposed to be rewarding not discouraging or after a period of time make you feel like you are doing chores rather than enjoying yourself. Destiny does nothing but penalize. The end game of destiny is terrible. The level system, to the customization, and to the lack of content is inexcusable. Dont sit here and act like everyone who complains are just whiners and babies. We are consumers just like you who have put a ton of time into a game that we have enjoyed but also feel it is very flawed on many levels. Im not going to sit here and just fondle bungies balls because of who they are. The game needs major work.
