No.
Technically my denying of my existence could be the best proof for it.

How is that proof for existence? Self awareness by allowing you to lie about your awareness? That's not proof if that's where you're going.
-
Anything that doesn't exist wouldn't, on its own, be able to comprehend it doesn't exist. In some way, shape, or form I must exist. If I don't, I'm simply your own delusion and I don't need to bother with a deluded person.
-
That's what I'm trying to get out of people. Prove you are your own, independent intelligence, and not just a creation and illusion of my own.
-
Impossible. The mind is too powerful. We can never fully understand our own reality without first accepting it. I cannot prove it to you unless you accept it first.
-
So I must accept without proof?
-
It's faith.
-
Hmm. Then wouldn't this mean every god can be/is real?
-
No, there's too much contradicting religions. If there is a god or collection or ruling deities, they did not come from the minds of men. Unless there is one religion on Earth that is correct, they are all wrong. Atheism allows one to observe and understand the universe, updating ones knowledge as they go and live. This never contradicts the "truth" since it is the pursuit of truth. There are countless facts that contradict religion. Gods would not be falsifiable, nor would their teachings. If what we have are the teachings of gods they are terribly poor interpretations of the truth.
