This reminds me of the first part of the conflux fight in VOG, no one wanted to do it. Always people saving a CP to get right to the next part.
And for the same reason. Both fights offer no loot.
CE:
Part one lamp run: One random spawning chest + reward at end.
Part two bridge: Reward at end.
Part three shriekers hall: Chest at end if you are quick to get it.
Part four Deathsinger: No reward
Part five Crota: Reward at end.
People, a good part of the time, will take the fastest way to the end. A lot of people want to get the loot and go. Right now I have two of my Warlocks sitting at the start of shrieker hall, one right at her fight. More then likely I will join a friend that has Crota CP and get them all at that spot. The odds of finding a group to run Deathsinger, cheese or no cheese, is less then finding the CP past it. For me it is at least.
I'm not sure why they made the raid loot the way it is. Be it the smaller loot pool when compared to VOG or just the new loot system they say is in place. I think they just toned down the Material drop rate. But giving her no loot made her a "waist of time" in a lot of peoples eyes. I don't think it is time needing to be spent but worth of that time.
Playing legit is in the eyes of the player.
