I won't be able to get mine until tomorrow evening. But, why is everyone so ungrateful for what they got? Someone gave something to you when they didn't have to. You're not entitled to gifts, they were given to you out of good and free will. The thought behind the gift should be what means the most to people, not the material thing that you received. They thought enough of you to give you something, so that in and of itself is something without a price tag. Food for thought!

I do agree with you to a certain extent Falcon but when Bungie promises a gift to say thanks for playing and then you wait in anticipation for 3 weeks and it transpires to be a random legendary weapon (which is very likely to be of little use) then players are obviously going to be disappointed. It shows a lack of imagination on their part too.

I think people are mad because they would have rather just got nothing then be disappointed lol RNG just sucks sometimes :/

It's a free digital gift in a game. It's not like bungie is giving everyone $5 off for the next DLC or anything. It's a small item in a make believe video game.
-
It's the principle of the matter, though. Be grateful, a gift is a gift regardless of how big or small. A gift is about the thoughtfulness behind it, not how much you like it

I could understand if it wasn't a video game, but I don't mind people bitching since it's just fake stuff anyways.

It is fake stuff. But I'm always appreciative of what I get regardless of whether it's a gift in the real world or a gift in an imaginary world. I just believe that gifts have a deeper meaning to them, that's all.
