It's the principle of the matter, though. Be grateful, a gift is a gift regardless of how big or small. A gift is about the thoughtfulness behind it, not how much you like it

I could understand if it wasn't a video game, but I don't mind people bitching since it's just fake stuff anyways.

It is fake stuff. But I'm always appreciative of what I get regardless of whether it's a gift in the real world or a gift in an imaginary world. I just believe that gifts have a deeper meaning to them, that's all.
