May I ask what makes you or any other poster worthy of determining whether or not I am worthy to play a game I payed for

You can walk around wearing surplus army gear, but everyone knows you're no hero

Edited by chill: 1/7/2015 6:01:52 PMYou're missing his point. You're worthy to play it just maybe not worthy to get the achievements that would be raid gear. Not saying you in particular but you as in general to everyone. If someone boosted with ppl to get easy achievements or trophies in a game, they may not be worthy of having those achievements. They paid for the game and can get the achievements how they want, but they didn't earn them as intended. Maybe not the exact same scenario, but similar for raid gear.

But who are you or anyone else who isn't a developer to determine what is or is not a suitable method

The developers are what I'm referring to. Maybe I should have been more clear. When I was talking about achievements and trophies I meant the ones on Xbox and play station. For example, if there's an achievement to get a 20 kill streak in pvp, the developer intended for you to be good an get 20 kills in a game without dying. Your not worthy of that achievement if you do it by getting in a match of free for all with friends or boosters and set it up so that your friends let you kill them 20 times in a row with no opposition, hence boosting. That's not how they intended for you to get the achievement. Similarly, it's pretty obvious Bungie didn't intend for someone to get the raid helmet by having Fireteam leader disconnect when Crota was on his knees. They intended for you to strategize and work together to get him down legitimately through game mechanics.

A person with common sense?

It's pretty obvious how it was meant to be played. The deathsinger is part of the raid is it not?
