Husk of the pit
Ok so I have finally got round to leveling up my husk of the pit starting a few days ago. So far I have killed alot of enemies with it even in pvp and pumped about 30 - 35 bounties into that bitch and it's still only just over a quarter of the way through cannibalism, did anyone else find this weapon took this much experience to get cannibalism? I feel like mine may be bugged somehow.

~20-30 minutes on the "awoken the hive" mission is all it takes. Leave one yellow acolyte and die. Repeat untill done.

Hive kills man, read the description for its upgrade

you only get credit towards upgrade for Hive kills. Farm the Hive missions on the moon, you'll have it maxed in no time.

It's not leveled via exp. It's leveled via hive kills (Read Cannibalism Perk - sinister satisfaction when used to expire it's former allies). A hive gun (former allies)... satisfaction (that makes it happy). Kill hive with it. Level it up.

Who does that leave? Just do the first moon mission and wreck some Thralls

5 RepliesHonestly, the best way to level the initial Husk of the Pit is to go to the story mission on the moon, I think it's called The Dark Beyond. Just stand outside the door after the cinematic and waste all the Thralls and Acolytes that come out, but don't kill the Knight. Once they are all done, die, rinse, repeat. I leveled it in about 5 or so deaths. The Hallowed Acolytes give more EXP than normal mobs. I think it took 20minutes or so to finish leveling it up.

You have to kill hive. Go to the Dark Beyond story and kill the thrall rushing out. Rinse. Repeat.

Pretty much out of the box you have to kill a bunch of Hive. Around 400 or so (ex. Dark Beyond mission on moon) Once you hit this mark you then have to buy a Runed Core to upgrade to the legendary version of the weapon, Eidolons Ally. From there you lvl it normally until you get to the final last node where you will need the Crux of Crota an exotic item that only drops from Crota himself on HARD mode. The weapon is now fully lvl'ed to be the Necrochasm.

Don't you have to kill Hive only with it? Haven't started leveling mine yet though, so I don't really know.
